FAQs
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! To book your portraits, a retainer fee of $100 is due upon booking for full sessions and mini session, and $400 is due upon booking for civil weddings/elopements, which goes towards your total. The remainder is due 24 hours prior to your session.
What is a retainer fee?
A retainer fee is a non-refundable payment to hold the date and time for your session.
Are there any hidden travel fess?
There is no travel fee up to 50 miles from Sykesville, MD (21784).
What if I need to reschedule?
To reschedule your session, please reach out 48 hours prior to your session and the rescheduled date must be within 30 days of original booking date. If there is severe weather the day of your session, we will reschedule within the 30-day window as well. After 30 days, a new booking will need to be processed.
When will we receive our gallery?
Within 48 hours you’ll receive a preview of your portraits. Your final gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks from your session date, and will be password protected.
If I have certain poses in mind, can I share them with you?
Absolutely, this is a collaboration. I want to make sure I capture your vision and that includes poses that are a must have during our time together.
Would it be okay to do an activity during our session such has painting with the family or apple picking?
Absolutely! Doing an activity together, such has painting or pumpkin picking, can help ease any jitters that you or any family members may have. Capturing your authentic selves is so important.
What should we wear? Can we wear cultural garments?
Anything you feel comfortable in and screams “you”! If you can’t decide on just one outfit, you're more than welcome to bring another one for more variety in your final gallery (this excludes mini sessions). If you need some ideas, just let me know, and I can share some inspo I’ve found on Pinterest. If you’d like to wear anything reflecting your culture, please do!
Can we meet you before booking?
If you’d like to schedule a zoom call with me to see if I would be a good fit, 100x yes. We can even discuss the details of your session as well. This is highly recommended for civil weddings & elopements.
